The Anacoco Elementary School PTO is so excited to have you and your family at our school. We are pleased to have the opportunity to get to know you and your children. It’s going to be a great year and we are looking forward to getting started! The goal of the AES PTO is to encourage parent, teacher and community involvement in the education, health, and welfare of our students. The PTO works hard to raise money for our school and our students. But we are not only about raising money – we are about parents and caregivers who have an interest in the success of our children's educational, emotional and social experiences while at AES. There are many ways that you can support the PTO and students of AES, including fundraising events, volunteering at school, collecting Tyson Chicken "Project A+" labels, as well as Campbell's Soup labels. The Tyson labels are worth $0.24 each. The entire flap is needed, please cut along the packages perforated lines to assure accuracy. The Campbell Soup Company asks for the UPC bar codes. The collection of these items in addition to our continued collection of BoxTops 4 Education ($0.10 each) and Community Coffee Labels (including their creamers and teas, $0.15 each) is a great way for our school to raise money! Every little bit helps, and this is a great way for other family members, such as grandparents, to be involved in your child's education. The class that brings in the most labels each month will win an ice-cream party! Your support and involvement is the only way we can accomplish these goals. Remember that every little bit helps!! Thank you for supporting A.E.S!!! If you would like to volunteer to be a part of our PTO orginaztion, please contact the AES office at 337-239-3040 for more information on how to become a volunteer. You may also contact our PTO president, Kary Brumley at 337-208-0124 for more information on how to become a volunteer. |
